When I did the "Lolita Lempika" commercial photo shoot (the 1st photograph in my commercial photo book), I had several problems including photo light and reflections on the glass, the arrangement of the ribbons on the perfume bottle. I first wanted to have a visible, beautiful, mysterious and chic background for this commercial photoshoot, I decided to use small decorative stones as a wonderfull bed for the perfume bottle. The stones being smooth and the glass bottle, the object slipped constantly during the commercial photographic session, I had to find the right balance between mass of stone below the object, next to it, angle of view and framework, it was already a first long job of setting up for an optimal commercial photo shoot. In order for the ribbons to be placed correctly during the commercial photo shoot of the object, I had to work the tension of each end of the ribbons so that they created a nice shape and placed exactly where I wanted, and that 'they don't move during the object shoot! For the photo light during this commercial photo shoot, I started by placing my lights in a classic way so that they illuminate the perfume bottle well, but many reflections were present and not necessarily where I wanted them, without counting the shadows. I then opted for a commercial photo shoot whose lighting would be light painting, so I was able to better control the reflections and shadows ... When everything was ready, I could finally start my commercial photoshoot!
